Tesla is selling mini robots
The Tesla robot toy sold out in less than 24 hours for just $40 on the official store. Compared to the Optimus Gen 2 humanoid robot, which can cost between 20,000 and 30,000 yuan, this miniature robot is surprisingly affordable. Many people are buying it on eBay, where it's selling for several times more, ranging from $130 to $1,300.
According to the official description, this toy is a "mini version" of the Optimus Gen 2 humanoid robot, built at a 1:10 scale. It stands 7.16 inches (18.2 cm) tall and 2.16 inches (5.5 cm) wide, weighing a surprisingly light 1.7 ounces (48 grams). It features over 40 individual parts, 20 points of articulation, and is fully movable. Tesla also includes a charging stand and a cyberhammer.
Although Tesla describes it as a "mini self-driving assistant and humanoid robot friend," based on various information, it doesn't seem very intelligent and may be more collectible than practical.
Interestingly, when browsing Tesla's official store, we discovered a wide variety of products. In addition to Tesla tires and accessories, there are also T-shirts, hats, water bottles, chargers, and various car models. There are also miniature models of various Tesla vehicles, priced between $150 and $195.
